50 People Attended our first Welcome Party. We have a new Troop Hat!

Dear Scouts and Friends:

Wow! We had over 50 people at our open house Welcome Party and we now have applications for 17 girl-members and 18 adult volunteers on our Troop Committee. And that is just a start because you can still attend our final Welcome Party this Saturday, January 19 from 10 to 11 AM.

Our girl members and new girls also received one of our custom-made hats. They are specially designed just for us. Our girls thought the standard BSA uniform hat, which is a nice professional baseball hat, was just a bit over-sized for them and did not display the Scout emblem the way they wanted. So we designed the hat in the photo below. It has a short visor, is the same BSA green color, and looks great on our girls!

Come to Welcome Party this Saturday and meet some of our girl members. You can attend our first Troop meeting on February 2 and even come to our first overnight campout on March 8 – 10.
